I opened INDIE account during early days of launch itself.
Funded 50k on the same day on which I opened the account.

After the recent policy changes, the FAQ page shows this.

So, both Option 1 and Option 2 criteria must be satisfied? I should fund 50k and also maintain it?

Yes, you have to maintain to retain your megastar level.
If you don't maintain it will still zero balance account but you will downgrade to lower level like superstar.
