IndusInd Bank Credit Card Application: Timeline and Current Process Update

I’ve been wanting to get an IndusInd card and tried applying since 2023, but my applications kept getting instantly rejected after providing my address, work details, etc. However, this time, I was at least able to complete the application process, including vKYC (I chose the Legend LTF card).

When I called the IVR to check the application status, after entering my DOB and phone number, it kept saying the application was rejected. But when I spoke to customer care, they said it’s still under process, and the same was confirmed by their Twitter team.

I applied on November 18th.

What are the chances of my application being approved this time? Any info, help, or suggestions would be much appreciated.



Updates:

1. 18th Nov 2024
   • Applied for an IndusInd credit card through their official website. After filling in my personal and work details, it displayed a list of eligible cards, and I chose the Legend LTF card (it showed me a limit of 3.3L).
   • No income documents were requested, but an OTP was sent to my office email ID.
   • Completed VKYC the same day.
2. 25th Nov 2024
   • Customer Care/Social Media support confirmed the card was approved on 24th April 2024 and informed me of a 2L limit (strangely, as the application and email initially showed 3.3L).
3. 26th Nov 2024
   • Received an SMS with the card's last 4 digits for activation.
   • Activated the card, and the limit was confirmed as 2L, as mentioned by the Customer Care team.
4. 29th Nov 2024:
   • Card finally delivered.

I applied the indus card approvel limit was 2.20 L but after two days the have home verification done then the declined I asked the reason they told multiple enquiries found in the Cibil report what to do. Now ?

Wait till 90 days, & there are 99% chances you will get call from Indusind customer care that you have pre approved credit card offers & then you can negotiate them to get the higher variant of cards.

It totally depends on the bank you can try emailing ,as of now they consider you as risk profile its totally normal when someone try to applies multiple cards with in span of little time
Its happening for me as well though we earn well and good but due to hunting they consider us as hunter profile all we ned is to wait, take step by step

My brother after getting a job applied for a IndusInd card this year and they have rejected saying your photo on Aadhar is an old one please update Aadhar photo and reapply. First time I am hearing this reason
