INDUSIND BANK FREEZE

Hello ,
So i have a situation here which i am facing and i need to get answer someone who has already experienced it by himself.
So i have two indusind delite 0 bal savings account i do buisness transaction in those for example i take payments in them payments generally are in 3 to max 5 digits no more than that and all upi also. And i keep rotating money send money recieve money like that.

So now its been 3 years no such problem has been faced but this month in june both account suddenly got in total freeze status by bank citing suspicious activity same mail in both account same letter in both account.
Now in this situation what someone can do
What i did was i mail to the nodal branch and waiting for their reply. And meanwhile a person from branch calls and says wants to verify your address i said okay come visit. He visited then an hour later he called and said sir you have n number of transactions in savings account and due to this we have marked frozen to account .he said sir you can do two things
1st one you can close these savings account and open current account .
2nd provide details of the funds to which he said it is not possible sir you cannot provide details as it is too much transaction.

I asked that can this existing savings account can be converted to current account then he said no sir you cannot do.
I also asked that to upgrade these savings account to 1-2 L avg bal account. To which he said no sir you have to close it and open current account.

In this case what should i do

I want to continue these accounts as it is not written anywhere that how many transaction can you do in savings account there is no number written as far as i know.

I have this type of situation on single transaction in kotak and kotak said i have business transaction but when i mailed them to nodal department they did unfreeze and done.

When I went to with draw money in atm inside the branch in my native, I saw 3 to 4 people are discussing about the same problem you faced.

I asked them abt the solution the bank manager gave for this, even they told me the say things you mentioned.
I assume this is the way they are trying to improve casa ratio by converting high transaction high maintained bank account to current accounts.

Do you have any prior experience like this brother ? I think there is no written limit of number of transaction in any account. Thats why i hope this should get defreeze from nodal department.
 
Okay so it's my area
I would suggest OP to meet the manager as most of the freeze issue can be solved by bm
Except cases where crime branch instruct to freeze certain account


Go to branch and have a chat with bm
And give a written application that all transactions are genuine and you will not do such transactions anymore

Most likely they will agree
(I have faced this with SBI they freezed my account with same issue and I got letter posted to me by bm
I talked with bm next day and things were sorted within 4 hours of giving explanation)
Also with kotak bank ,they even call your before freeze


As u have mentioned you are into rotation
Just follow the above
(Make sure to have calm tone
As in this case u are at default)
If nothing works close the account

Savings account are meant for savings
Though there is no restrictions
But bank has internal checks on accounts with same amount debit credit transaction or transactions that look suspicious etc

Maybe you were rotating same amounts or in same accounts for too long period



It's just a precautionary measure implemented by all banks at certain point

in IndusInd branches, Online account is a very big no go for them ( Since there is no benefit to employees). So you won't get much help there.

If you have did the same on the account opened offline with them, they would have not even frozen your account.

Converting Delight account to Pioneer is a big effort for Indusind branch people, They will push you to close Delight and open new Pioneer.

Upgrading is a difficult process for them to do, even though in principle it is possible.

I did try a different account and asked them to upgrade them from indusind delite 0 bal to indusind exclusive account which is 1Lakh avg bal account and in 3 days they did upgraded it successfully. Now if i do same transactions in the new account will i get freeze in future ?

Hi mam
I recently got the same issue as you got in the first place as i got an email stating due to the complaint received from state police the bank account has been markee freeze and got a text message too stating suspicious transaction processed .

I saw your issue is resolved and please advise what should i do to get resolved .

Also is this issue common ? Will there be any legal issues tho ?

I have recieved a mail just now that indusind bank has raised a request for high credit turnover review what does this mean ? Anyone explain
