IndusInd bank Select Savings Account and Legend Credit Card

TF Legend
Hi. I received my Select Savings Account welcome kit today but I'm not able to link it with my legend credit card in mobile application. Please help. My 50000 is already stuck in select account and there is no way to take it out as I have to pay penalty as non maintenance charges.
Please help 🥺

Customer ID and CIF are the same according to my RM. He is more knowledgeable and arguably much better than most RM's (considering the horror stories around Indus RMs) in my recent experience.

the problem however is when you have multiple CIF because of credit card + relationships via PayTM or other platform FD + you use IndusInd aadhar or voter ID updating service. when this happens, they are not able to use CIF assigned Credit Card and will end up using one of the other, triggering the juggernaut
Thank you for confirming that. It appears that this is the case for most banks, and I wasn't sure about IndusInd specifically. However, you are correct, and the only person who can resolve this issue is your RM. They have the necessary authority and knowledge to assist you.

I think your CC was processed offline and hence you got 19 digit CIF.

My CC was Processed online via VKYC and MY CIF has 9 digits Only.

So it Can be assumed that when We did VKYC for CC , we Provided PAN and Aadhar.

When we went fot Online Account, after entering PAN and Aadhar, it instantly verified us as an Existing Customer
I applied through agent but I also did vkyc. So I don't think this applies.

After the payment for my debit card failed during online account opening process, I got links for vkyc but I didn't complete thinking I would need to visit branch anyway so would do then. So I did gave self attested copies of my PAN and Aadhar to Indusind. I have no other postpaid or BNPL accounts, so I think I am in the clear on that regard.

Did your RM happen to know the solution too to this juggernaut? If you can share anything in that regard.

Mine own issue took around 3 weeks with constant follow-ups. Both the system & process at Indus are bad, there's not much the employees can do.
Adding to the trouble is the rigid approval process for each & every major modification to CIF - so the dependency is not only the capability of the RM but a lot of other variables, hence the time 🙁

We need a lot of patience when dealing with Indus, otherwise it won't work well. The only reason I stayed with them is because if this good RM who constantly followed up & even offered to gave us pickup/drop in his personal car when we had to visit the nearest branch for some biometrics authentication (to change the incorrect info in the main CIF)

Yes, my RM also raised the same request multiple times, which added some more time to the process. That's why I decided to stay patient and not give up, despite the delays.

Bhagwan bhala kare aise RM ka. Then there is mine, sir aap customer care pe baat karo na, simple sa process hai unhi se karwa lo 🤦‍♂️
My RM never once referred me to anyone else, let alone customer care. He conferenced the call with Zonal Head for card escalation, CC team for CL split etc. & similarly for a major info mismatch in my CIF with another Indus employee but never once asked me to do something with my own efforts. It's very rare to have such RMs these days

Our cases are quite similar. There was a significant mismatch in both the name and address, but the RM resolved it without even contacting us or requiring us to visit the branch. Furthermore, my mother's address was also incorrect, but the RM fixed it without requesting her presence at the branch.

My total NRV is 70k across 2 account + another family member with 50k select account.
However, we speak the same language and I helped them setup Aadhaar update camp etc. in our society of 500+ apartment, so he's super helpful to us. I also known the BM for the same reasons & he's the one who introduced me to this RM

Can someone please explain benefits of getting multiple debit cards?
