Infinia Card: Is the Devaluation Coming?

There will always be some exceptions.

There will always be someone richer, someone with more connections, someone with a business, someone more lucky who will get things easily than others can.

That doesn't mean a devaluation is coming, talking about that though, a devaluation has been supposedly coming for the last 3 years so you never know, it might come anytime lol.

NTB customers and Ultra HNI and some lucky ones have the benefit of getting Infinia this way. And as Infinia Reserve is around the corner for sure before devaluation announcement they want to reach their targets by offering Infinia to some customers, and not with everyone of course wherever it's necessary depends on RM/BM/GH.

Just enjoy till Infinia shines bright.
What is the way for a NTB customer to directly get Infinia or at least DCB without visiting the branch? I know I don't quality, but just to collect some information. How would an NTB customer go about to get these two cards if he/she doesn't wish to visit the branch and deal with bank employees? (Infinia paid will do, but DCB LTF)? Any suggestions, tricks?

HDFC bank branches which are opened new and looking for business growth. Branches with high books will never budge.

Well put. Very well put.

Today itself I was reading the following in some another thread but I can't find it now.

Somebody asked for infinia to HDFC guys and they suddenly started talking about infinia reserve. He asked the guys further and learnt that reserve will be given to 'infiniti' customers, which is a banking programme above imperia and might require TRV of 5 crores with HDFC. Currently, given so many restrictions already in place on infinia, it might not be devalued further except apparently golf access is going to have a devaluation impact. To lure customers towards reserve, HDFC might be going to give infinia to more people and also define infinia's eligibility properly now.

Today I too received some customer survey call. Recently , I moved my UPI txns to it and started using Milinea dc , this could be the trigger.

He asked if anything I need, I asked for the CC upgrade , looking at my old SRs which requested Inifinia, he was willing to issue. But I demanded LTF and he said it can't be.

Then I asked for millenia CC LTF, for that he asked some investments, but can try FYF and I declined it.

Definitely they eased getting Infinia .

I just really hope infinia reserve is like axis primus and amex centurion. So everyone just shuts up about it.

If being offered to Infiniti customers only with 5cr TRV, then it should be UHNI card.

It happens to NTB as when I opened my first account to HDFC 2 year ago then I was also offered DCB and Infinia on paid basis.
But I didn't take that offer and later I attached my millinnia card to my customer ID. After that I didn't get any offer to get DCB and Infinia.

One upgrade offer for DCP but I rejected that and converted my diners club variant into Visa.

Infinia has already limited gyftr spends so I doubt that any significant devaluation is pending. Most people used Amazon/Flipkart/Bigbasket GV which are very limited now.

They are slowly but surely devaluing Infinia at small intervals.
Gyftr, 70% capping, miles/points transfer reduced to 2:1 instead of 1:1 in many cases.
