Infinia Infinia Request Rejected even after fulfilling 'Spend+Limit' Criteria[Update: Approved]

Then not worth a lot of extra efforts to upgrade from DCB.
Definitely less than 10L
It’s still worth it depending on your spending pattern and how well can you utilise the vouchers for regular spends. Adding to that for international travel, Infinia comes handy. No acceptability issues that makes up for the reward you would otherwise lose out on apart from a headache.

Unlike DCB (which itself is a great card), with Infinia you get 12500 points when you pay the fee. You pay only the gst for what it is worth. So don’t worry about meeting or beating 10L spends stretching. Just pay 12500 Rs and get 12500 points and look at redeeming them at 1:1 ratio, it will be technically close to LTF.

Do they follow the resolution date give in the case no. Today was the last date mentioned in the last mail for the case resolution but no reply from Bhanu yet? How long do they take to reply.
In mycards I don't see the infinia yet.
After sending a mail today evening, got a reply from Bhanu in an hour saying they need another 7 days to review my request, new date is 29th Jan.
Let's see where it ends,
I got myself Axis Atlas last week as I'm losing on rewards by using tata neu infinity, and has an trip coming in Feb. Will update here if any progress happens on Infinia.

yes, international acceptance is a good point. And also agree if you get the paid infinia, it will not be much out of your pocket. At the same time, I still dont think spending time and efforts to get LTF infinia is worth as very small chances you will get it but you will end up spending many hours fighting for it.

The point is that fighting for LTF Infinia is not worth the effort. Go ahead with FYF or Paid Infinia if you are being offered one and it will be worth more than the gst amount you pay. Fee is anyway compensated.

Infinia is First Year Free (FYF) if obtained through an upgrade. For a new Infinia (Paid) card, a spend-based waiver is available upon spending ₹3 lakh within 90 days.

Is fighting for LTF DCB worth the effort for someone who doesn't hold any hdfc cc? Currently they are offering paid DCB. Is it worth to start off and accumulate spends on it?

You may try it out citing your relationship with the bank and all that. I'm not sure if they would offer you LTF given you don't hold any CC and so yours wouldn't be an upgrade case. New Metal cards don't come LTF.

Just one query,
This is my first time with the upgrade of any card, somehow my last 4 digit of infinia matches with the regalia card, and an option come on mycard to add a new card but it doesn't work because it checks for last 4 digits and says card already added?
Is this common? Did they upgrade my regalia instead of tata neu infinity?
