It’s not. A lot of people miscalculate. Infinia points are worth 1₹ per point. How 85.71 ?
You derive 100% value from points. Each point is worth ₹1.Good observation, this only proves that air tickets is the best use of HDFC points to derive the maximum value of 85.71 paisa, after considering only 70% points utilisation.
This value is derived by a complex formula well known to HDFC investment bankers
That’s right. For 10k Rs transaction you can redeem 7000 points which is worth 7000 Rs. its 1:1.It’s not. A lot of people miscalculate. Infinia points are worth 1₹ per point.
Buy Apple products from Amazon/FC/Vijay Sales etc. for better discounts.I have also used INFINIA points primarily for purchasing Apple products and flight bookings.

Yes, the bank intends to take super premium plastic variants out of circulation in due courseHdfc completely stopped infinia pvc upgrade?
No, only jewelleryIs there any way we can use the Infinia Tanishq vouchers to buy Gold coin??
1.2L Voucher purchased across two quarters?I made a transaction today, and based on my calculations, 1 RP is equivalent to 0.8 for Tanishq (assuming an immediate conversion to cash, which may be offset by gold appreciation in case of selling after extended period).
I brought in 1.29 L jewellery with ~9.5% making chargers (90k RP + 39k cash). The Tanishq representative informed me that selling it for cash today would yield 1.11 L. This means I lost 18k in the 90k points, resulting in a realization of only 0.8 (of course, GST, and the charges incurred would have been unavoidable if I had purchased the jewellery to keep my wife happy, so I can’t really complain)!
Ya, the limit is 50k rewards redemption every quarter..so, I did 90k redemption in Dec and Jan1.2L Voucher purchased across two quarters?
As there's redemption limit of 50k/quarter?
So used a total of 13 Vouchers?Ya, the limit is 50k rewards redemption every quarter..so, I did 90k redemption in Dec and Jan
that's not the right comparison to get 80% value. Its influenced by making charges which you will have to pay. You can't reduce the making charges.I made a transaction today, and based on my calculations, 1 RP is equivalent to 0.8 for Tanishq (assuming an immediate conversion to cash, which may be offset by gold appreciation in case of selling after extended period).
