Infinia to Krisflyer - name mismatch issue

Hi folks

I tried transferring miles from my wife's Infinia to my Krisflyer account since I already have quite a few miles in my Krisflyer account so I wanted to pool the points together, but the transfer failed and Krisflyer sent me a mail saying there is a name mismatch issue.
While linking the partner account in SmartBuy, I had mentioned my name as the FF member name, however it looks like HDFC sends the cardholder name while transferring miles. Is there a workaround to this issue? I also hold an Infinia addon in my name in case that can help, though I believe bank only maintains the primary card holder name only.

Any insights on this would be highly appreciated!

it wont work you will have to send to your wifes krisflyer account only then only a succesfull transfer would be possible
then gift krisflyer miles from oner account to another

Is gifting like this allowed? I somehow remember points can be pooled only from a child account to another family members account.

Unfortunately you won't be able to transfer to your account as hdfc sends primary card details .
Also afaik kris flyer only allows miles donation to some cause but it doens't allow miles transfer.
I would suggest transfer it to your wife's account and if the miles are less than the required redemption either purchase the extra required miles or use kris miles for non flight bookings such as booking activities through Pelago.
That way the miles in your wife's account would also get utilized.
