international lounge access: do they check names on card and boarding pass?

can i use 2 cards on my name with complimentary international lounge access, to gain access for me and my guest for free? or do they match the names on card with boarding pass? asking for all types of cards: credit cards, dreamfolks privilege, priority pass, etc.

I have add-on card in which I intentionally ordered with only last name (surname) printed, does this allowed in international lounges?
Why last name? - So any family member can use that card while accesing lounges in India. no issue with name matching.

Did u try n check if it works internationally?

It is mostly checked. In the past year or two, I have used the following international lounges and it was checked everywhere very diligently:
Colombo
Ho Chi Minh
Hanoi
Seoul
Tokyo
Birmingham and London (multiple times)
LAX
Tijuana
Marrakesh
Lisbon
Warsaw
Dublin
San Francisco
Probably a couple more I can't recall as well.
All requested boarding pass, scanned it and mostly asked for passport as well and checked it.

So I got a new credit card and I intentionally put my 4 years old son name in card name section so that he can access lounge with us for free..is it gonna work?

I have a first, middle & last name (example: Shilpa Vishal Kulkarni). I applied for a MC World credit card from Canara Bank & received it yesterday.
It has my first & last name (Shilpa Kulkarni), even though I had requested first & middle names (Shilpa Vishal) since all my non-passport IDs - Aadhar, PAN, Voter have first & middle (Shilpa Vishal) names only.
Only my passport has full name (Shilpa Vishal Kulkarni).
For domestic flights I would not like to carry passport. So, should I get my card changed to match my Voter ID which I carry, to get access to lounges? Or, will I be allowed entry if boarding & ID name is - Shilpa Vishal, but card is Shilpa Kulkarni.
Thank you.
PS: There is a limit of 17 letters for name embossing on card.

I don't think that there is any big challenge; lounge staff generally ask for a boarding pass.

You can use your full name while booking a ticket. Or just take a snap of your passport on your mobile. In a very rare case, one or two lounge people would ask you for ID proof.

Not a problem at all for both domestic and international lounge access.
Partial name matching is alright. It is not like name has to match with boarding pass with each alphabet. Just matching with first name is enough.

Yes this works. I do not have middle name on my priority pass but have it on passport and hence also on tickets and boarding pass. I had used this priority pass at multiple international lounges without any issues.

Thank you. Regarding using full name while booking, will that cause an issue with Airport Security and Airline, since Voter ID will not have last name?

While booking flight tickets for domestic, book tickets as per the name of the document which you intend to show at the airport.

And for international ticket booking, book ticket exactly as per passport.

Last year i tried to get my brother in law into lounge with my two Priority Pass's at DXB and MIA, both places they matched names on priority pass and boarding pass and didn't allow him, luckily one of the priority pass had guest access back then(magnus) so it worked out

All this for work or leisure ?
