"International Travel" Option - What is the use of this option in card options?

Under Limits & Restrictions, there is an option of International Travel, where I can enter destination, dates of travel, emergency contact details.

What is the point of this option?

Whenever you do or going to do International travel, you can input that information there. Doing that

- bank knows you're in foreign country (when they received transaction messages), and allow your card for spends - they won't think some foreign person using your card for un authorized transactions and block it.

- some contact info insurance, and security purposes.
