Investing 100% Cashback into Mutual Funds

Maybe the person is doing other investment. But he is also investing the cash back amount too.
Which is really good. Instead of spending the cash back, if invested could add to something in long term.

Dude, but what would be your purchasing power with 1 cr after 30 years take inflation into consideration.
Firstly you gave to understand this.
I am not saying you shouldn't invest this amount but you have to increase gradually.
It's a 2nd perspective to use the cashback for investment.

He never said he doesn't have a main investment or he doesn't save from his main income.

How many of us save the cashback?
Most of us think it as a free money and use for mostly unnecessary spends that If we had to use from our primary source we wouldn't do the spend, right?

Hi guys,

I started a new experiment 2 months ago and wanted to hear your thoughts.
I use Millennia (CC + DC), SBI Cashback, and Kotak 811. Since the cashback in both cc usually gets credited to the statement, I manually take that exact amount from my bank account and invest it in Mutual Funds or Stocks.
Basically:
* Cashback to Investment: Whatever I earn in rewards, I move to my portfolio.
* Spare Change: Even if I make small side income (₹100-200), I randomly invest it immediately.

* No SIP: I don't like fixed SIPs. I prefer doing "one-time" investments at the start or end of the month, depending on my expenses.

Is anyone else doing this? How is this idea?

As per OP - it seems to me, to INVEST that EXTRA cashback into MF is a strategy, not the ONLY saving cum investment.

And if you can be consistent to keep it deceplened to grow for 30years,
It's 1cr.

Guys, Enjoy your life with this small amount every month.

Don't put all your money to SIPs.

You live only once.

After 30 years, what would be your age? Don't regret that age I would have spent for myself instead of savings.

Do proper asset allocation. Enjoy your life. No one say invest all your earnings.
