Ok in every a/c form Form 60 is auto stapled by default. I have recently opened account in CBoI, Canara and BoB and I specifically asked them to remove form 60 amd mentioned my income range.

Are you sure form 60 was not included in the form. They might have done that. Branch jao aur BM se cut to cut baat kr k clarification lelo. Did you mention ur income range?

Yes I'm sure no form 60. Maybe like @zomatoo mentioned app is buggy. But email id toh pakka linked nai hai never got a single email from iob.

my vkyc is not happening. Saying agents busy and giving me a slot of 3rd april. I mean today I can understand but what about tomorrow.

Debit card late aata hai or unhe app chalani hai abhi. Or he needs other debit card which he will apply later. Any one of these reasons.

Forgot to tell you this but you kindda need DC for Mobile and Nebanking. However fret not, call the branch and they will generate it for you (they might ask a scanned application over email). Just get RuPay Classic for now 150+GST. I am waiting for them to launch a virtual DC that's the only thing kindda bad about IOB right now.

I got visa classic free with sb Max account after filling the form. Can get that one and generate pin and then do the upgrade from app.

Update: IOB mobile MPIN generation done. Sent application to Branch email. They processed the MPIN after matching my signature. Smooth process must say.

Debit Card generated in app and showing "IN ACTIVE" and telling to contact branch to activate it. Do I need to contact branch to activate it as IOB atm is far away from my place.

Branch people can be incompetent af. I think it's better to do via atm.

Update on my iob account shenanigans: PAN and email were linked to account but not user id (yes they're both separate). The branch person had to manually create a NetBanking id for me from their internal system. They also finally took my request for chequebook but somehow uska bhi charges deduct hua 59rs for 20 leaves 🤡🤡. All in all I'm just going to use the rsdc and forget about anything else of this bank. Netbanking is worse than BOB or any other bank I've ever used.

it could be long to and fro method but request CC to activate and ask the rbi guidelines which mandates this, they will activate from backend
