IOB online account opening detailed process - Best for RSDC

I have been receiving lot of dms regarding IOB account opening process and for RSDC.
So putting everything in one thread.

Account opening process
1. Open this link
Choose account variant - SAVINGS ACCOUNT - PUBLIC
its mab is very low 100/200 only without chequebook

2. Fill all ur personal details.
UnTick debit card
Untick chequebook
Tick netbanking and mobile banking

3. Submit application and do video kyc.

4. U will receive user id password of netbanking in the mail after account opening usually takes 3 to 1week.

5. In netbanking, apply rupay select debit card.
Rupay select dc fee 800JF/800AF

Trick to get RSDC at low price
Untick dc while opening account.
login into netbanking and apply rupay classic at 150+gst.
After 4 5 days , Use debit card upgrade option in netbanking or app from rupay classic to rupay select.
Upgrade fee only 350+gst

Overall 150+350 = 500+gst instead of 800+gst.
300 saved in joining fee


Overall 800 fee RSDC at 100/200mab is a great choice
Applied For Savings Account.
But No Agents are available for Video KYC. Tied many times
 
I have given my residence address as my work location . I will be travelling tmrw to my permanent address. I choose the communication address as my permanent Aadhar address . If I am not able to complete vkyc by tmrw morning will it work on my permanent location?

they will check that my current location must match the residence address given.

What is the best time to do the kyc?
 
I was selecting a branch in my current city. But I do not have any address proof here. And they did not allow different communication address and permanent address.

When doing vkyc the agent asked me the distance between aadhar address and the selected branch. - It was more than 180km. So he asked me to choose another branch that is within 30 km of the aadhar address.

I tried doing vkyc again without the changing the branch hoping that I might get a different agent and lie to him. But I got to know that when you fill the form they assign you an agent and you will get the same agent everytime.

So, I did not had an option other than changing branch. Later I thought to change it to current city so it will be easier to collect debit card in case it went to the branch.

And that's how I got fu3ked....
Why don’t u collect it from ur Aadhar address when u visit home?

My current location also more than 200km from Aadhar/ communication address given .But Aadhar and communication address is safe . Now what will happen? Will they allow or ask to change the branch?

How was u able to change the branch
