Fun Fact- I got iphone 7 from usa in 2016, the phone had some manufacturing defects and within 1 month I went to apple store in delhi and they refused to replace or repair it because its warranty was apparently covered in USA. Also if u buy apple care in usa it will work in usa only or any specific country u got it from, so my advice buy apple products from india only

yh I got my macbook in 2021, the shopkeeper gave me students offer and hdfc card offer, and then while billing i asked him to write my gst number but he said i cannot club the offers together, so I told him to F**k off and give me hdfc cashback along with gst. Fun fact till 2-3 years ago u got cashback on hdfc card after 2-3 months after. I remember when I got my mac in june 2021 I got 8k cashback in september 2021 but now it is instant cashback

No they werent doing it for free, They asked 25k to fix the screen issue. did they fixed urs for free?

The one time I paid for repair was when I got the battery changed of my old iPhone SE (First gen). I paid around 3-4K in 2021. (I got the phone in 2017-2018 sometime).

I got iphone 11 in 2019 december just a few months before covid and it had some battery issues and they fixed it for free but then issue came up again so I loudly told them to replace it or refund it and being a loyal customer they replaced it and gave free screen guard and official iphone case.

I just checked if you buy iphone 15 and plus or ipad normal/mini/air it is cheaper in india than usa. But you need to apply card cashback,students discount and gst.

Yes. But the Pro iPhones are very overpriced in India. 15 Pro Max is 1,43,000 before discounts here. It is around 1,06,000 in the UAE including forex markup and VAT. I can recover my flight tickets and visa fees.

Just show the original bill at the airport counter and they will process it.

This isnt the case for apple ?

Apple stores in UAE do not offer VAT refund bill. They explicitly tell that to the customer before he pays for it. Other retailers might offer it.

If one goes directly to an Apple authorised repair centre here in India, they can do all their natak and nakhras about foreign bills etc. The proper method is to always contact Apple directly, get an appointment booked via their CC, and then go to the repair centre. The repair centres cannot reject you unless they want to explain to Apple what their "problem" is.

exactly. My silicone case was replaced this way.

I have brought over 50 lakhs of rupees worth of apple product from them, so when my iphone 11 was broken they themselves sent it to an authorised apple repair center, but again the problem came up so they got it replaced and gave me a screen gaurd and official silicon case for free.
