Is CV Base Tier any good?

Hello All,
I am trying Club Vistara for the first time and I have never tried any Airmiles program earlier. So, I have a n00b query. I tried to search in this forum but majority of people refer to Silver/Gold tier only.
I plan to convert my CC reward points to CV Points to travel in future (mainly reward points from Magnus and Regalia). Before I proceed with this, I need to know if CV Base tier any good? I don't have any cards to get Silver/Gold TIer. I was exploring about CV Award flights and got to know that there is a limited number of these seats in a flight. Also, there is something called "Priority Waitlist Clearance" for higher CV tiers, which also makes me have doubts that those higher Elite CV tiers will always have an edge over free CV Base account. I reside in Delhi and my travel destination might be Mumbai/Goa.
My main doubt is if I transfer all my points to CV points in future, I don't want to be stuck in a situation where I might be unable to book any flights. Please share your thoughts about chances of booking award flights with CV base tier.

if you transfer all your points in advance to cv account as you said having a base cv tier is a disadvantage when compared to gold or platinum but depending upon the availability of tickets you will be able to book tickts through your points.
just keep in mind to book your tickets as soon in advance as possible

I tried to test ticket availability but it doesn't go further to show me exact availability as I have 0 CV Points. So, I am not sure if I can get tickets as a CV base user.

What disadvantage you are referring to here? Please explain. Is the disadvantage at the time of transfer or at the time of booking?

the disadvantage is Priority Waitlist Clearance and many other such perks such as higher baggage allowance prioirity boarding.apart from that it a first come first serve basis to book the tickets so when you know you are going to travel transfer the points asap and try to book a ticket asap due to limited availability

Only axis infinite gives gold right? Is there any other card of any bank which gives gold? I know silver is given by many.

If I transfer points when in base and later upgrade to silver before booking. Will it still be disadvantage?

Can you please explain a bit about "Priority Waitlist Clearance" or refer me to an article? I am a CV base member and planning to book award tickets. I was thinking I will get confirmed seat using CV miles and paying taxes. Am I wrong here?

You will get a confirmed ticket on paying taxes after redeeming miles.
Priority waitlist clearance means sometimes flights get overbooked which is allowed by dcga.
In those cases a gold member is prioritized in the waitlist even though he may arrive later.
Someone correct me if I am wrong

Looking at the posts in this thread I think CV base can get award ticket but depends on first come first serve basis. Looks like we need to plan our travel schedule few months in advance.
You mean even if I get confirmed ticket, I may get waitlisted in case of over booking?
Interesting question. I need to know about this too before transferring CV points as a Base Tier user.
