I use sbi cashback for all online spends.(my family medicine spends are upwards of 50k per month)
I use other cards for 10% off etc offers
Can I gain any advantage by using dcb to get more discount online ie smartbuy, payzapp.will it beat 5% cb of sbi cb card

Yes DCB is much much better than the ones u use only if you travel through flight.
You can buy Amazon Pay vouchers from Gyftr Smartbuy and get around 8.5% RPs and pay all you bills from Amazon pay. (I hope Axis ace dont give 8.5% )
For all your online spends, you can buy Flipkart, Amazon Shopping voucher, Nyka, Myntra, Swiggy money, Bigbasket vouchers etc at 10% RPs from Gyftr.
Only difference is that you get cashback from those cards and here you get better RPs which u need to redeem via flight.
.
Though cashback is less of a headache than RPs .. so you decide what suits you..

I dont travel much and I also do not have any upcoming travel plans. What is the conversion ratio of dcb points into amazon voucher? considering the conversion will it fetch me 5% reward rate I am trying to find out best reward rate as cash equivalent or amazon pay vouchers.

On site they say 1 RP = 50 paise voucher iirc but when I tried redeeming I find it was 0.35 paise for Amazon , FK vouchers for points. But some other company vouchers were available at 50 paise redemption as well.
Need to check again though.
You can go to Netbanking -> Credit card -> Redeem points and check yourself from new window that opens and search the catalogue.
.
Even if you travel 4-5 times a year via flight, it is still fine to use DCB imo.
Other wise I suggest just do whatever you are currently doing. No headaches.

DCB points are worth 1 rupee each right?
How else would it get a 3.3% cashback on regular spends?

worth 1 rupee only when redeem for flight/hotel.
Otherwise its 50p for vouchers and around 25-30p if redeem in cash.
