DCB Is it possible to close original card after getting a floater card?

Hello, I have two HDFC credit cards - DCB and BizBlack. My original card is DCB and BizBlack as a floater card was issued later. Both are paid. My use case aligns more with BizBlack and DCB seems to be of no use. Is it allowed to close DCB without affecting my floater card (BizBlack)?

Both are core, just the floater will become primary
