Is it safe linking email with Bill payments app

Is it safe linking our email accounts with Bill payments app like cheq, mobikwik, cred ? What are their permissions . They can read and modify all emails right?

Create a dummy email and fwd relevant emails to that one. Give this dummy email in all apps.
