You should expect some approval messages and despatch email 😛.

HDFC is very late in sending texts n emails. I got the same one month after I received the card 😂

Wait for dispatch msg or mail with last 4 digits of cc. Using this last 4 digits you can verify limit in hdfc cards website

I don't think HDFC send last 4 digits. In my case also I got similar SMS and the next day of this SMS I got tracking number. Even the tracking SMS does not contain any digits of credit card.

I have got a message like this" Dear HDFC Bank Cardmember, your Credit Card XXXX has been dispatched through BLUE DART AWB # 310XXXX DT-30/11/2022. BlueDart will trigger an OTP for validation at the time of delivery, Please show valid ID proof to collect card." Once you get the last 4 digit you can login to mycards.hdfcbank.com and can see the limit and variant
