Well you never know what offer you might get. Say JIO starts giving cashback on recharging via JPB. Dont close it, it wont cost you anything. Do Rs 1 txn every 6-12 months thats it

But there is annual charge for debit card in the new schedule of charges. Although it's mentioned physical now they can anytime charge it on virtual card too and then you can't even close the account because there is a charge of 200 for closure too.

20p per SMS, without any limit. No way to deactivate sms feature. Every UPI txn will get 1 sms. So they do not want us to use their acct for UPI. Now even banks are acting against UPI.

Airtel Paymnet bank charges 30p/sms after 5 sms free per month, still better and they impplemented it last year only

JPB offers 15 free sms pm. He was referring to no upper cap after 15 free sms. JPB is way better thay Airtel. Airtel is pure trash.

I placed service request for VKYC, almost 40d ago Nothing happened🤣

I think there is no advantage left in having jio payments bank account anymore.
