Karnataka govt is running a scam!!! Need everyone here who can help to recover my 5 Lakh

Reading the post itself gave me anxiety. Despite those issues, here is what I fail to understand:

I am finding it hard to understand what is land conversation and who were the parties conversating here?
Why did your brother decide to use his credit card for paying for a friend's work? Not just once, but 7 times?
Why did you not stop when there were more than one transaction failures? This sounds fishy to me.
Also your expectation on government officials (especially in the revenue dept) replying to your issues is unrealistic if you don't know the right people in these departments.

Despite having connections in the government, I had to struggle for two weeks, for a trivial task.

You are also SOL with many of your card lenders because the payments may have been cleared from the lender's end as the issue most likely is a faulty implementation of handling payment responses from the payment gateway to the govt. site.

Not faulty...intentional. This is theft but with the absolute shit judicial system, it doesn't matter. I would suggest reaching out to opposition supporting news outlets, twitter handles etc. Might help expedite the issue.

Hear you brother. That's why I said bad to worse. All of them are ba***rds. India wasn't ruled for millennia just like that. We love to be treated this way. Italy hanged their leaders (Mussolini and the bunch) right in the town square, and everyone spat on the corpse. We on the other hand love to be ruled by degenerates, murderers, and rapists and more often than not glorify them.

So, be strong, work a bit hard, get your kids out of this godforsaken land. That's the real purusharth left in India. And this is coming from a person whose family has served this country in every thing imaginable, Administration, Law enforcement, Armed forces, you name it.

The problems which i see.
1. Bank may rather take action on you for using personal credit card for someone else.
2. Even if refund is provided over a period of time it would not be settled in bank account. Rather mentioned as credit balance in minus. Which you have to consume somehow over the time.
I have seen hdfc still settling the amount and no extra payment. But others not sure.
3. Chances are govt may simply consider them as advance payment for certain years instead of refunding.

I know im saying only the problems but i wish you best of your luck.

as per RBI guidelines YOUR TRANSACTION CAN BE CATEGEROZIED INTO DISPUTE TRANSACTION ( NOT Fraud)
so RAISE a OFFICIAL REQUEST to your credit card bank for marking Transaction as DISPUTE and later They will Raise CHARGE BACK Request after investigation for the same
till then YOU NO NEED TO PAY ANY BILL FOR THOSE TRANSACTIONs

I know banks dont do that immeditely raise the same
some banks itself provide IVR option to mark the Transaction as DISPUTE OR FRAUD ( some times after marking the Transaction the bank may Debit freeze or Temp Inactivate your card )

You are wrong again /s Not only Indian Citizenship is worth F** all it actively takes away whatever semblence of humanity you have forget giving back NOTHING. When rohingyas can get their Aadhaar PAN for free I don't think Indian Shitizenship is worth the paper it's written on. Or the entire constitution for that matter.

Land conversation is related to converting agriculture land to non agriculture land for making housing layouts and other use.
There is no parties involved. For making agriculture land to NA, need to pay fee to govt.

The simple reason to use credit card is it gives 45 days time to pay. Friend was giving us cash it's not huge around 2lakh in total fee to be paid online.

Reason for multiple trx is that having some knowledge of payment, if the payment fails it will be refunded back since there is trx history no matter what we can trace and fight with merchant. I have 21 credit cards, Trx failure is pretty common and refund is almost automated, This happens all the time, never did failed trx got struck in my lifetime. Unless the intention are to scam people's hard earned money. There is nothing fishy. We were over confident on digital payments and it's safety.

But here the merchant is Govt without single head or dispute readdresal dept. Also after the episode only I got to know that I can't raise complaint to RBI, nor to consumer court nor any FIR. Will try CPGRAM complaint after some time.

always keep in mind one rule for digital payments.....since now almost everyone in India is doing digital payments....expect payment failures across govt and pvt merchants/apps....big ticket payments...always advisable to do with cheques unless it's a physical swipe at a pos machine..

Being positive, calm and patient is the key here. I was also told that refund is not at all possible. It was told by the municipal corporation people. There was one revenue inspector who assured it. He got transferred immediately after accepting my application. That application came back from dc's office for unknown reason. The new revenue inspector corrected whatever it was and resent to dc's office. Cheque was issued for one failed payment as they thought there is only one failed payment. Had to reapply for another payment. Cheque issued for this had wrong name. Cheque had to be reissued. All this took 5 months. All this because I paid property tax on behalf of a senior citizen who lives alone.
So my advice is better be patient. Don't ever show your displeasure with the govt. employees. You will get it back.
Meanwhile do what you can do to not pay the dues to bank as some people have suggested. You have to get a big refund, so be careful about what you do.

Yes, you are damn right. Trying pretty hard to get temporary credit from the banks. Govt Office visits have been a headache. They keep sending files from one dept to other. My case being a bit complex involving many banks, Don't know were will it lead to.
