Kiwi Neon membership free renewal?

I got the below response from customer care, so no free neon membership. 🙁🙁🙁

Dear Customer,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We’d like to clarify that we are not issuing free Neon memberships anymore after 15th June. This benefit was available only for referral users who onboarded till 31st May.

The screen you have shared cannot appear in our current app flow, and therefore, we are unable to proceed with your request based on this screenshot.

You can, however, continue your Neon membership by renewing it directly through the Kiwi app.

We hope this clears up the confusion, and we appreciate your understanding.

When I check today it is asking me to pay, maybe a glitch yesterday or I'm not sure. I have written to customer care and waiting for their response

I was checking the app today and to my surprise kiwi gave me free neon membership for 1 year with the current one ending in 21 days. This is not free for all my be for those who spent considerable amount in the past year, in my case i spent around 2.6L last year.

I checked with couple of my friends one who got the card recently and one more who is due for renewal but haven't used much and for both of them the app asks to pay for the membership and renewal respectively.

Even though I got the below, whenever i go to the membership page it asks me to renew again and doing so, I get the same message that I got free 1 year subscription every time. I guess the app is not adding the renewal to the queue and hope the new membership will come into effect once the current one expires.

You can spend online, that also counts for milestone. Maybe get a amazon voucher for 20k and that should do.

But the base reward rate is 0.5% . So, when he hits the milestone, he gets the extra 3% over this, which effectively becomes 3.5% on this 20K spend

He is short of 20k for 1.5L, so doesn't it give the balance of 5% ?

He will get 5% effectively on the 1.3L but for this 20K it will be 3.5% only if he goes by online. Anyways this is the best as most of the GV purchase sites have stopped cc upi.

I guess not. I remember getting the message "You have already earned xxx of 7500 and the balance yyy will be credited at the end of next month" when I tap on the 5% milestone on the neon membership page. So maybe it will credit the entire balance of 7500 but I'm not sure.

Their descriptions are very tricky. Till now I haven't used it for online, everything on UPI-CC scan. Lets see if someone hits the milestone by online, how much s/he gets.
