@sharu101 There's one banking policy directed from RBI itself that "Saving Bank Account shall be used to
route
transactions of only non-business / non-commercial nature. In the
event of occurrence of such transactions or
any such transactions
that may be construed as commercial /business/
dubious or
undesirable,
the Bank reserves the right to unilaterally freeze
operations in such accounts and/or close the account".
Just close your A/c and transfer your funds to another A/c.
No need to ask Sorry to Branch Manager, it's not Illegal. Tell them you're unaware that these trxns will become dubious from your bank side and then will lead my account to get freezed on this ground only, if so why my other bank account is still running smoothly.
Hence, I myself too I don't want to continue the banking relationship here, where customers are threatened and misbehaved, so request you to proceed on closing account.
If they act oversmart, tell you're having recording of the conversation, where you have threatened me to ask sorry to BM. Otherwise, you will report to RBI or Income Tax Department.
