Make a complaint about that branch, that that the branch is denying to close the account and asking 2.5k.

Or peace, see if another branch is available in your region, change the branch instantly and give closure request there.

I think someone from kotak low level employee forwarded this news to top management and got a promotion to mid level.
They have been very selective in offering super now.

Brother, please guide me. I checked the eligibility for Kotak 811 Super, and it showed that I am not eligible. When I checked for my mother, it showed she is eligible and asked to add ₹5,000. I added ₹5,000, and instantly ₹300 was deducted. The debit card is still showing the old one, the Dream Different virtual card. What should I do next?

You don't need to do anything instead of waiting. It usually takes 24 hours for the messages to come. Then, you will receive physical DC and cheque book, it takes 3-5 days depending upon where you live.

So, just sit back and relax.

Will I get 5% cashback only when making transactions with the physical debit card? Will it not apply to the virtual card? And will the ATM and cheque come together at the same time?

It will work for virtual as well, but don't start making transactions as soon as you see virtual. It takes sometime for the information to be completed on the backend. If you can take risk, then go ahead.

Also, virtual and physical both have same numbers, expiry, cvv. Make sure you don't get confused with normal 811 DC. There will be 2 separate virtual DCs.

In my case, they came on different days.

When a new 811 Super Card is issued, both virtual and physical, does the old one not get closed? Does it remain active as well?

Also, why would you even use the old virtual DC?

I had understood, but I was confirming because in other banks only one card works, right? That's why I asked again.
