Kotak Bank "811 Super Savings Account" Benefits - IMP UPDATE 🚨

Someone in earlier messages on this thread told me that credit card bill payments don't accrue cashback as Kotak considers them wallet loads. So, I paid around 14k using this debit card to buy some coaching online.
Hoping to get 5% cashback at least on this trnx.
I'll update whatever happens, and in case someone got cb for cc payment, let us know.

It's obvious they decide eligibility based on MCC assigned by Card Networks.

I can't upgrade my 811 account as the app shows offer is not available for me. I called up CC and asked them to upgrade. They too refused saying my account is not eligible as of now, they will inform once an offer is available 😒
My account is not new or anything, been using since 2-3 years and keeping moderate amount in FDs. Don't know what is the criteria to be eligible for 811 Super. If anyone knows, please share some tips

Yeah, it seems like they're not interested in giving the cb as mcc allows for it like other banks are providing rps.

No-one except Kotak's core teams like Product, Backend, etc. knows the exact criteria.
Someone got even after using the A/c heavily and some didn't even after using it moderately or lightly.

Do you expect him to remember the whole Kotak 811 activation pamphlet? We are not bank employees mate. Nevertheless, you can activate it through internet banking.
//Edit: If the debit card doesn't show up in internet banking either, then wait for couple of days.

No doubt, I could have told you, only when you have put in efforts for the info which is readily available at your fingertips.
It may seem lil harsh, but it's what it's.
Activation of all Kotak’s DCs is the same. Some alternatives to MB & IB are SMS, IVR, ATM. There may be some issues because of which card details is not available even after delivery.
The issue is that some members even old one visit the forum only to seek ready-made answer(s) all the time. They totally depend on others for every single thing that can be found just by googling.
