But this is not a good practice, especially in case of delivery financial instruments, in my view. It may be okay for you, as you know eachother very well.

As I said they either found loophole or their developer team messed up which causes this, otherwise OTP comes, when there's no requirement of authentication?

Yes, that's true. For anyone unfamiliar with the finance world, it would naturally be a cause for concern and full panik mode.

link worked for me and redeemed gc successfully.

1. Visit https://kotak811.woohoo.in/
2. select gc of 100 value and fill the details
3. Use the code received in sms
4. Profit.
 
Hey, can anyone confirm if the 811 account needs to be opened via physical KYC only to be eligible for 811 Super upgrade or VKYC also works?

Physical KYC; Aadhar Biometric

VKYC is not possible at the moment because of RBI directive. But if one possess an A/c opened previously via VKYC can also become eligible for updation to Super program subject to fulfilment of other eligibility according to Kotak.
