One odd thing happened, I didn't received cashback for payment by Pay*Flipkart Internet (mcc said to be 5399), but upon calling to their super team, they said all online transactions are excluded from cashback (quoting t&c of January25), but then I couldn't find anything regarding that on their t&c site

Further, specifically apay gift cards (nowadays) have mcc 5399 (tested thrice). That's not excluded category yet.

Never tried. I have better option for Amazon purchases. SBI cb & Millennia. I can't keep silent when I see something illogical. That's too repetitive.

I am not sure, but my observation is many occasions when pay* added it tag different mcc, usually wallet. All online txn are not excluded in kotak. They are incompetent.

Kya bhai. Mujhe laga kuch authentic update they rahe ho from your statement/ discovery.
Aur wo update mere update se mel nehi kha raha tha. Issliye pucha.

Note: I am not denying the importance of that thread, its very good to refer. Just that some mcc have changed since then..

Kotak won't be able to give you the mcc code, use other bank DCs.
