Generally it is charged in 1st statement only. If it is not charged then high chances that your card is FYF.

Statement will be received in your registered email few days later.

I just received a call from the Nodal Officer. She mentioned, ‘Sir, this call is regarding your complaint to RBI. Your card was issued on March 6th, and the offer applies to selected customers who applied after February 26th. You are eligible for the offer. There will be no joining fee on your card, and the annual fee for the next two years will be compensated with 500/- gift cards. We will send the email confirmation by evening or within two working days. and will close the complaint with the RBI.

Thats the reason I was thinking they'll charge me joining fee.

Even after confirming 3 year free, they are adding ₹590 fees on bill generation.

That would be great. I have the call recording, and when she emails about the zero joining fee, I can use those two pieces of evidence to confront them and negotiate for a lifetime free (LTF) card. 🤔
