Then, you don't know that my city is a Tier 3 city in the state of Bihar, where most banks don't issue credit cards. However, I do have a Kotak credit card now. If you're referring to a list that includes only some Tier 1 cities, don't trust their website. But you may need to open an account to get cc approval in that cities as kotak might decline you cc application by saying that your address is unserviceable as they did with me(proof is attached).
As per my experience, i had opened account on 18 February 2023 and i had received pre approved offer on 20 March 2023. This might be because i used to do lot of transfers via imps, rtgs and debit card.

What is the highest credit limit reported in your cibil and for which card?
Actually it is the highest credit limit that is going be reported. Second highest is Paytm hdfc select with 2lks limit but you know that HDFC doesn't report credit limit to the cibil. Third highest is iocl axis and sbi cashback with 1.6lkhs each.
I have recently opened 811 digital account on 8th June sometime midnight and I was shown some credit card joining and annual fee as zero and forget to take screenshot. I have completed my vkyc for the account on 9th June and when I asked vkyc agent he said he isn't aware.
I called customer support and the agent said that he is also not seeing any application but assured that he would convey my interest to the backend
Then suddenly on 10th morning I received message providing the application number. I again called the agent and the agent says he doesn't have any details on card variant and limits but confirmed that the application is there. The card is approved now and I just wanted to check how I can view my card and details before receiving it. It's still not visible in the app.

Then ask the customer care through twitter that the card is ltf or not

Had opened mine on Thursday midnight, was showing a cc but they were asking company details when I listed self employed so I clicked skip for now.
Friday had the vkyc the lady also was unaware how to do so.
Last evening 11th June I dmed them on Twitter but got no response. Today I got a call welcoming me to Kotak and they offered the card, the person sent me a link to claim and fill out details, she said if self employed and I free lance then just enter my house address and name. Showed application sucessful will recieve kit in 7 days, however never got the sms with the application number and neither does status show any records on their website.
How many days after approval did you get the card? And did any person come for verifications? Or call?
And was there a cibil enquiry?
They did a soft enquiry when opening the account and emailed cibil and Experian reports.
They showed the limit during claim your card process was a really good limit. Being my first credit card after a long time the limit shown was 70% more than what one card was offering. But I do have Paytm postpaid since 2-3 years.

You can check application status with you mob no. & d.o.b it doesn't work most of the time and says invalid details ,so check 3-4 times at different time

Thanks been trying this, all the times getting error record not found. Still have not get a sms or email informing of the application or anything after I applied, just after application it said applied successfully card kit will reach in 7 days.
My card delivered on Saturday 10th June. I realised on Monday that it's a credit card that was delivered to me because not until 10th I didn't have any information on this.
It's a weird scenario where a card was delivered before the application status got approved. Now, I can't even activate the card in my account, it throws me technical error. Called support they said they will look into it.
One of the customer agent called me to narrate the benefits and he said my card is platinum but what I got is 811 card.
Looks like kotak is high on something.

Submitted my application to claim the 811 card on Sunday after the call. Till now not one communication.
Can’t even find a record on their tracking site. Neither an email of dispatch.
If they did not give an intimation about delivery wonder how folks would be ready to collect the card if the person is away and they send an otp

After 3/4 days of no communication from Kotak I used their contact us email through their website and stated I haven’t received any communication on approval or application number. About an hour later I got an sms and could track it online.
Guess I will email them once I get the card in hand about the fees
Edit: 4 hrs after receiving that approval text I get a text that they have received my credit card application and it will be processed in 7 working days what is Kotak on 😂

when did Kotak start reporting the card account on cibil? Got the card 2nd week of June and activated can see an enquiry done on cibil same day they approved the application but the credit account doesn’t show up on any credit score sites.
