I have kotak 811 account (3 Years old) and I used to get only pre-approved offers on loans and EMI card offers. I started fd/rd, paying bills, making IMPS transactions in 811 & stopped using this account 2022 May & made HDFC as my primary account.
In month of Dec 2022 I was getting calls on pre-approved credit card & I totally ignored it. Later decided to take for satisfy utilization ratio. (At that time I was 65% as credit utilization ratio). I already have Apay 2 years old (with 130K).
So I accepted offer and procced and card approved in 3 days and limit was 20K and I didn't disappointed because no use of this card and its just for keep.
Later after 1 month of use they charged me annual fee and called CC to close the card. retention team made this card LTF & reversed deducted chargers (Except GST) no complaints.
After 6 month of getting card, I raised LE request though Net banking but they declined C2C method and only Salary slip, Bank statement or ITR. I was busy at that time and after 1 month I gave bank statement. After 2 weeks, LE request was declined.
I checked in Increase limit section and able to see offer. I accepted on the spot.
20K to 136K direct.
Card usage pattern: Used to load mobikwik, made 3 amazon transaction in total card life span.
No LE charge applied till now.
