Laptop buying help [NOT so urgent]

Hi,
I am planning to buy a laptop for personal use. Budget is around 60k
Want a 14 inch size laptop, i5 12th or 13th gen (H series is preferred).
I can wait till Diwali, and I will only buy from offline market.
I shortlisted two laptops-
Lenovo- Link
ACER- Link (60k in offline market)
I would be grateful for any suggestions!

Hi,

My personal laptop became unusable and I need a new one ASAP.

Going by personal experience with office Lenovo laptops, I am inclined towards it.
My Budget is <50K inr and usage is typical docs/video watching. Not rigorous programming or t*rren*t downloading.

postponing till Dhasara sales.

Configs I have decided:
Lenovo --> Really have excellent first hand experience with this and I say this is laptop version of Nokia800
RAM --> 16GB
gpu : not needed

Configs open and not yet decided:
cpu : Intel or amd ?

Dussehra sales where you might get some good discounts. Since you’ve had a solid experience with Lenovo, sticking to it makes sense. Your config choices look great, and for your usage—documents, video watching, and no heavy tasks—both Intel and AMD will work fine. Intel (i5 12th/13th Gen) offers better single-core performance and power efficiency, while AMD (Ryzen 5 5500U/5600H/6600U) is better at multi-core tasks and usually has better-integrated graphics, though you don’t need one. If a Ryzen 5 model is available at a lower price, it’s a good pick; otherwise, Intel is a safe bet. Just ensure the laptop has at least 512GB SSD (avoid HDDs), an IPS panel for better visuals, and a battery capacity of 50Wh or more for decent backup. During sales, check Amazon, Flipkart, and Lenovo’s official store, and look out for bank offers or exchange bonuses to maximize savings. If you can stretch your budget slightly (~55K), you might get a model with a better processor that lasts longer. Have you shortlisted any specific models yet?
