Alternative to SBI unipay: ‘Airtel’ (2 merchant names, both work), ‘jio finance’ app Canara bbps (also called Canara Setu) website. They only support bbps cc bill payment. These give 4900 (utility) mcc.
Do these alternatives all work and provide cashback ? as SBI unipay is very unstable.
Can we instead have a table in the original thread against every DC in row item , working methods from portals and also MCC code

Yes

Good idea. Do you mind start building it and then we can contribute. Not kidding

Your transaction could fail and there is no dedicated support team. Your only option is to wait for 7-8 working days and sometimes, it can even take longer.

What would be a more reliable choice (not counting HDFC BillPay)? Canara Setu? Have seen complaints about Jio Finance too!

HDFC billpay is out of the equation as it doesn't give you reward points anymore. Canara Setu, JioFinance, works fine.

Always do a test payment first to see the status of the website/app.

That doesn't seem to tell much about the condition of Unipay!

The other day I paid off one bill successfully at Unipay, but before the next payment went through, the website crashed, complaining about some kind of "bridge"! Thankfully, no payment got stuck.

When I braved it again after several minutes, the second payment also went through successfully!

It appears that the Unipay site has intermittent, unpredictable failures, which no test payment can say anything about!

Could you please mention on which banks did you got HDFCBILLPAY? If you haven't tested it, then it's completely false.

Probably didn't worked for you, but works for majority here, I never faced it and I don't rely on that alone. I have other methods.
