I think HDFC have patched it, i feel we are not going to receive cashback for credit card payment from any HDFC debit card.
Check the link, they have clearly mentioned it "

• Credit Card BillPay transactions made through Debit Card will NOT earn any CashBack points with immediate effect as this is not an eligible category for the same.

I have paid the credit card bill with debit card, on 24th of nov with unipay and airtel thanks, still havent recieved it, yet

Please post if anyone has received it, after payment done after 24th nov 24, earlier i have received it next day

Does all the bill categories in SBI Unipay comes under utility MCC 4900 especially paying Insurance premium? Any idea if someone has tried?

I can't test now as I need to pay 2L fully in one shot, no part payments allowed, help needed!

Guys I have paid my current bill of axis Bank and I want to pay my outstanding amount. I checked on unipay it fetches my old bill and there is option to pay. So I want to know that if I pay my outstanding amount will my transaction get failed?

You can pay with Axis as it allows extra payment also. Your txn won't fail.

Which ICICI DC you have? As far as I know, ICICI DC are rewardless and worst. 🙂 I have ICICI Rupay Platinum only for Amazon Friday offer.

Downgraded my ICICI DC to Mastercard World due to the lounge access without any minimum monthly or quarterly spends. I'll use my HDFC Millenia as well.

Yes it does. Master World Debit Card from all banks have same lounge benefit or nearly same. 2 Per quarter at Domestic Lounge and 2 Per Year at International Lounge.

Banks like Canara also allow 1 guest free at domestic every quarter while 2 guest free at International lounge per year.

ICICI has 2 per quarter whether used domestic or international.

Charges from Canara is Rs.1180 but no issuance charges. ICICI charges like 236 or 354. I am not sure as for some acc. variants it is free.

Pay with Unipay. It will not fail. Axis allows excess payment over billed amount. However, HDFC cc and SBI cc do now allow any amount over billed as far as I have experienced.
