It works on both but as other legends said you need to keep patience for rewards

HDFC fixed the code and so no more 1% cashback using platinum debit cards at SBI UNIPAY, Canara SETU etc..

Hdfc gave and gives 1% on utility mcc upto 750
So
Unipay had mcc - utility - dc removed so no cashback
Setu mcc change to department store - so no cashback on that

Find a website to pay with utility mcc & u can still get

I wish Amazonpay upi used my Amazon balance not wallet balance.

Why you need that wallet balance to pay CC bill? best transfer it to bank and use another rewarding method for CC bill payment

Because HDFC has chull for everything. Anyways, yeh raaz bhi HDFC ke saath hi chala gaya. 🤣 And this new kind of invention will be shared with other banks and HDFC will be Maharaja aka Bank's saviour. RBI chairman will knell down in front of Parag Rao.

Jokes afart, they tuned their system to tag such payments under 6012 MCC so that cashback leakage can stop once and forever. Abhi VISA variant is getting tested and if results are good, this virus will be spread to Master and Rupay variants. After Covid19, this is NoCashback25 now and Endemic for DC.

On worldometer website one can track HDFC cards infection rate daily. Strain 6.0.12 is infecting everyone.
