Why you need that wallet balance to pay CC bill? best transfer it to bank and use another rewarding method for CC bill payment

This issue with 6012 on setu is only for HDFC Visa millenia but not other bank's visa cards? Anyone has any clue as to why? I thought PG sets the MCC code.

They do but it is the bank which has the final say in giving cb. Always keep in mind that cb is not your "right" so you can't fight bank over something like why they tagged a txn as a certain mcc when other bank/card treat same txn as another mcc. In short, if bank think too much cb is being given then it can consider mcc of every txn done on any website as 6012 & you can't do a thing.

No one can say that as we are also waiting for HDFC to reply for master variant. Our undercover lootera officer has done txn and mailed HDFC but HDFC is busy fixing loopholes so no reply from them today. 🤣
