Upgraded to Millenia DC (MasterCard) last week. Best way to use HDFC for CC bill pay and get cashback? Asking again probably since I went through 6-7 pages in this thread and didn't find any relatable answer.

Let me know if you are able to pay via HDFC ESP card on SBI Unipay 🤣. You will get points if transaction is successful.
I hope only new HDFC Platinum cards are not giving points for utility/telecom MCC.
What do you mean? I am actually living under a rock perhaps!!!!! Can you actually confirm that the method has stopped working?

I'm planning to open SBI account to get VDC. Is basic savings account enough?

According to this link, it's 0 MAB and Physical DC has no charges. So it's basically a free savings account. Or am i missing something?

Get a regular savings account. Average MAB is not much. You can open using YONO and can open at any rural branch also where AMB is Rs.500 only. Later transfer to Branch of your choice. You will be issued normal Physical Debit card which will be free for 1 year. Close it in month no. 12.

To have things unmessy in life better not have basic account. Also if you alreasdy hold Jan Dhan i.e BSA in any other bank you won't be able to get it. Download YONO and open regular savings acc. from there.

5) IDFC Debit cards: Pay using Canara setu. Can use rupay first tap debit card on phonepe (Merchant name "Phonepe recharge" works, not sure about rest).
Reward rate and dc fees depends on account type:
For wealth account: 0.67% rewards till 50k(online spends). 2.5% rewards post 50k. Rs.12.5k rewards max monthly. So, around Rs.5.36L transaction can be done.
Idfc first tap dc - Reward based on Account - Are the rewards cumulative for the account or seperate for Wealth DC and First tap? I have wealth account + first tap. If I had already spent some amount say 50k using Wealth DC, will my next spends via first tap directly fetch 10x rewards?

Me and a friend, we usually get my Millennia cashback of 400 within 20th of every month. My friend got the same on 20th Feb but I haven't received the cashback yet. What's the issue? We have been spending on the same dates from the beginning

That's not how things work with cashback credits to Millennia. I have 4 Mill. cards and 2 have received which had txns later while the other 2 haven't received yet. They do in batches. It will come this week. Last date of month is actual date for credit. So no need to worry much. Previous months also you asked the same thing.

Yes, you will get 10X once you cross 50K limit for every 100 spend.

Go for sbi online zero balance account, 1st year debit card free, from 2nd year 150+ GST. You can choose your nearest branch also.

Thanks. But my question was - is that 50k spend threshold cumulative at account level or at card level?
I have already spent 50k+ using wealth DC. Now as CanaraSethu is not accepting Visa card payments, if I pay 20k with my First tap card will I be getting 10x RP - as I had already spent 50k using Wealth DC (at account level) or will I be getting 0.67% rewards - as this is my first transaction using First Tap card at card level?
