Mujhe sirf 17k LE mila tha last month. Ab ye dekh kr lag rha ki nhi lena chahiye tha to maybe abhi better milta

For further upgrades to DCB/Infinia you need very high spends on your credit card. If you are keeping your card idle or with very low usage then the chance of further upgrade is extremely hard.

I got a HDFC freedom credit card about 13 months ago with a limit of 20k and got a upgradation offer to business MoneyBack card a month ago and I did upgrade the card. And I’ve been waiting for a limit enhancement offer for a while since I’m a heavy spender and pay all the dues on time in full and I haven’t gotten any limit enhancement yet! I use HDFC banks savings account as my daily driver and my yearly transactions are 15L in 2021, 18L in 2022 and 24L in the last 9 months.

Any tips.
Does age play a role in it since I’m 22 years old guy?!

I haven't seen instances where people have got more than 40% of their CTC as credit limit. It's very rare, and reserved to high spenders.
Maybe you are already close to that number or already crossed that.
Hence, no further increase.

What percentage is this Limit based on your annual CTC?
If true, perhaps increasing your salary via job change/promotion will help in LE.

Just tried this link for LE and noticed something strange :

I have LTF DCB ; but this link shows my card as DCB Metal !
Maybe I should call for a card replacement and see what happens..

Unless all LTF DCB have been converted to Metal 😆

Back to your question, I am self-employed. Up until last year, I wasn't much interested in credit cards, bank accounts, or cashbacks. 😂 After joining TF this year, I realized what I have missed. As far as HDFC goes, I am not interested in getting a LE or Upgrade, since my family members are already holding HDFC cards with good limits.

To add to this point, if you have a credit limit of 50k and above, that is enough in most cases unless you frequently purchase high value goods.

Totally agree with this point, and since I have other better-rewarding cards, I am more than satisfied with the limit assigned to me.
