Loading ICICI FastTag with Amazon Pay gift card

I would like to buy Amazon pay gift voucher from Smartbuy and use for loading icici fast tag. Ultimate goal is to pay for fuel through HP app. Amazon web site mentions Fast Tag can be loaded with UPI only. Please share your thoughts . Thanks

Oh oh. I would be stuck with some balance on my Fastag then. Now worries, it would be eventually used up. Have you tried via HP pay app after linking your Fastag there?

yes using HP pay only , i linked on app but when I scan at HP fuel station fast tag doesn't show up to pay

Are you using this? I tried once before 3-4 months successfully. But now when I try to pay with ICICI fastag on HP pay, the transaction is timed out before the OTP arrives. Has happened twice in the last month.
