Long Term Stock Market Investments

I have started an initiative for adding this feature to our group!
Request everyone to kindly support by commenting +1 or a suitable phrase to showcase demand in this link.

+1🙂

I wasted enough time trying to understand which stock is a fundamentally good long term stock, good growth stock, good value stock etc. Realised the effort is futile and subjective.

Now completely invested in only these investing ideas -

1. momentum investing - gives the required alpha to grow wealth. Through smallcase managers (won't name them as it would become a recommendation)

2. Index investing - nifty50

3. Few mutual funds that are based on small and mid caps.
I second that. I've come to peace with myself that it's not my job to have that patience and level of expertise to invest in equity directly. I have exited completely from stocks and have distributed funds to my existing MFs. I have 4 SIPs which i follow religiously - small cap, flexi cap, index fund, US total index fund in equal proportions. Once I accumulate a corpus of 60L, i have plans to deploy 50L to a PMS fund where they will invest my money to stocks for some fee.

Guys,

Here we can discuss and evaluate long term investment debts for equities. I dont believe at all in short term trading or F&O as there is 95% probability of loss and 100% for mental agony and time waste.

I mostly invest in index funds with low expense ratio and also direct stocks like ITC etc.

Good 5-10-15 year investments can gimme immense returns and can even be life changing wealth. Even boring stocks like TCS, maruti has given 50x returns over long run

Lets discuss fundamentally sound long term investments here.
It would be a nice initiative if you could create a dedicated group for this. I would be happy to join. 👍

I happen to read in many places that the PMS funds don't fare a lot better than MFs. They also come with a higher fee than MFs.
Let us know what more you know about PMS funds, would help me in future 🙂

There are hundreds of options. Its about choosing the best for you. You can DM me for more discussions

avoid smallcase also. They sometimes charhe 10-20% as fees of your money
it is all based on portfolio size, one should learn to calculate the expense ratio. No need to avoid altogether.

For ex : for a smallcase of 6K fee per annum ; make sure you put in at least 7L of capital so that your expense ratio will be < 1 % (like most MFs)

I've purchased 2 advisory services -
Aurum Capital
Intelsense Capital (Long term investing and Hitpicks, both)

You can check their yearly rates. You can pay me 1/4th of the amount and I will tell you their current recommendation and forward all their upcoming recommendations email to you on the same day on which they come to me. If more than 2 people agree to join, we can reduce this amount to 1/5 too.
Let me know if anyone is interested.
PS: I might also donate the money which I collect from you. Will think about it later on.
