SOIC is a good channel. But one should never watch youtube videos, follow telegram/whatsapp/facebook for tips to invest. But he does a very detailed, fundamental analysis of stocks which is nice. Although you should never make investment decisions taking advice from someone who is not a SEBI registered investment adviser(don't know if SOIC is one).

I'm a beginner in investing if you could elaborate more, would love to pool in.

It's basically a Stock advisory, where Ishmohit and his team (SOIC team) would recommend stocks for the long term. They would tell which stock to buy, when to buy and when to sell. The amount to buy/sell is up to you. Also, you yourself would perform the transactions from your account.

A word of caution, if one does not have the acumen to understand and analyse a business(which most people do not have), they should stick to Mutual Funds. Stock market investing is one of the most complicated investing avenues. I take it you are not an active participant, or are quite new to this. You will learn with time. It beats me how people blindly put their money in the name of investing taking advice from advisory firms. Maybe it works out for a few individuals, I don’t know.

Can you tell me, what's the difference between MF and advisory fundamentally?
In both, you have to buy/sell based on some other person's conviction. Just that MF transactions are automated, here in advisory, you have to execute transactions yourself. Also, MF is more tax efficient, that's it. No other advantage.
Moreover, there are many disadvantages for MF which are not there in advisories. Anyway, it's too much to type here.

Isnt soic a forum or a group where you would be joining for advisory service.
Word of advice
It's your money invest accordingly.
Either invest in index funds /mutual funds or mirror them for long term if you don't have stock selection idea

Regarding advisory- Ishmohit, the founder of SOIC and the guy who comes on the youtube videos, will HIMSELF give the stocks to buy or sell. There's no recommendation from any public or random guy.

No need to follow a registered advisor as well is what I am saying.
There are better fund managers who have given better returns in the past.
Either stick to that or mirror their holdings or do your own research.
Will help you save a lot of money

1.better via their cagr of the funds they manage
2.this is something mutual funds advertise so it is common knowledge

Hi, if you follow the Stock market, you might know about SOIC - https://www.youtube.com/@SOICfinance. This is literally the best channel for investors. They have recently launched an advisory service, where they will recommend stocks. It costs about 80K + gst for 3 year subscription. I am trying to gather around 3-4 folks so that it costs around 6K-7.5k per year per person, which is very cheap for such a quality service. Let me know if anyone wants to join in.

3. Why I have so much confidence on this guy? Because I am an SOIC tribe member (where he takes a lot of webinars) for the past 1.5 years (which itself is a paid service) and I am his Youtube subscriber for past 2 yrs. I know how awesome he is, as an investor and as a stock market enthusiast.

The difference is that in MFs, everything gets governed carefully. It is extremely hard for fund managers to indulge in front-running and insider trading. SOIC or any other advisory firm on the other hand can enter the stock before handing out advice to their members, and exit the stock before asking their members to exit the stock. I hope you can deduce what that means for them and for their members.
