Lounge overcrowding decreased?

Lounge Food will always be to minimize consumption like in any other buffet.. cooking soda usage / gas / taste / plate size / variety / portion size / placement / etc will all be designed to reduce consumption.. so.. you will very rarely feel satisfied..lounge food is always 🤢
You will have the gassiness even if you eat at the food court or even if you bring a tiffin from home and eat it just prior to boarding.

Not denying your scientific empirical theory.. just supplemented the information.. However each body to their own.. not everyone is gaseous... else. the plane travel will. become unbearable for others 🦥 😉

There are always problems. When a flight lands, the attendants at the arrival gate always try to avoid being the one who has to open the airplane door, because they are always met with a gust of farts.
I personally did not have any problem barring that one instance and my friends too didn't have any problem. That was my experience. Frequent air travelers may shed more light on it.

Frequent flyer @MrunalMehta can shed some light.

Kam Khao, free ka dekh kar pagal mat ho jao 😅
Mumbai lounges are super crowded and there are people who reach airport 3 hours early, so they can do their office work while enjoying the free hospitality. Very happy that credit cards are now coming up with minimum spend criteria.

Regarding Gaseous stuff, can't comment much , but in plane sometimes it smells so bad that I feel like opening the emergency exit door. Especially in international flights, where it's beer + food 🤢

For me , it's just some water and maybe small sandwich nothing much.

Adani Business class lounge is the best that I have been to in India.

When you eat food just before a flight, it starts getting digested, and then when you get on the airplane, the environment is low pressure. This low pressure environment causes the gassiness.
Sounds logically correct, I felt same several times, when having food less than 1 hour.

Been to Kolkata, Mumbai (Adani) and Goa lounges. Adani Mumbai is the biggest of them but has the crappiest food.
Really? I feel Adani Mumbai both Domestic & International (Accessible via airline partnerships or business travel) is the best lounge that I have been to in India. It's really big and spacious, food quality is pretty varied and good and they keep frequently refilling the food options. Plenty of options when it comes to type of seating. Washrooms are squeaky clean.

Have been to TFS Kolkata (both normal and business class section), Goa (Mopa & Dabolim) and while the Kolkata TFS (premium section) was quite decent even that has washrooms outside where the Irish house is or used to be.

I don't really know the science behind this but none of me and my family members have had this issue.

But I generally don't eat anything 30-60 mins before I fly. General trend when possible is to get to the lounge 2-3 hours in advance, have a decent meal and then just relax and grab a coffee before I leave the lounge before boarding. In case of International flights which are mostly late at night, I either eat at the lounge or on the plane (depends big time on the airline & class I am flying) and instead of coffee I grab a glass or 2 of wine so that I can sleep peacefully on the flight.

Yeah I did not like the food from Adani. Every food either tasted bland or sour. Though I liked the amount of cold soft drinks they had to offer. Lounge was clean and very big so did not feel overcrowded. One thing I have noticed that they're matching the name on card with boarding pass.
One guy beside me brought atleast 10-12 debit cards (yes DCs) and was trying one after another 💀

Totally agree with this. I can barely eat half portion of what I usually eat at home.
