I closed my BOB cards on Oct 17th(confirmation received). I had requested for removal of PAN from their records. Got his reply from them today.
"We wish to inform you that card ending with xxxx & yyyy has been processed and data will be removed post billing cycle.
I closed my cards before the this months billing cycle (17Sep - 16Oct). By when can I expect my data to be removed from their systems.

I got the same reply today, I think it means after next billing cycle? My billing cycle is 5th of month.

Makes sense probably the guy will apply tomorrow as he may have left for Diwali holidays.

I had given everything physically but didn’t get application number via SMS but CIBIL hit should be same for offline probably, I will have to ask them again I guess.

Update on this

So I asked the person who filled my application he told that when an application is filled offline no application number is generated neither CIBIL hit is done.(This sounds pretty weird to me)

He mentioned that I will get a call in a few days from a person for home verification.

Anyone who has filled application offline shed some light on their experience on this?

I have applied through an agent which @Swastik shared with me. He applied for Eterna Rupay and application is approved on Friday. Received last 4 digits of card number on Sunday.

He also mentioned that there will be a tele verification but i did not receive any. There was a cibil hit though on the same day itself.

Emailed crm bobcard team to confirm its LTF status before activating the card.

Yes if PAN is not removed, it would not allow to apply even for agent I think.

Just heard back from the Agent I was in contact with, she's saying that the LTF policy is on hold right now and no applications are being processed now.

i have tata nue infinty with limit 2 L Can i apply bob card on card to card basis if yes please tell the method ofline or online ? if online so there is probalm,some time they aske for bank statement where the salary credit,but my salary is less.

I did and they said there is no such offer but I have asked them to check again since it was applied through agent and waiting for further response from them. I will update once I get confirmation
