LTF SBI Elite Credit Card for IIT students

Nitheesh

TF Select
So the SBI at the IIT Madras branch is conducting a campaign to give LTF Elite credit cards to the current students of IIT Madras. This campaign is there till the end of this week. Maybe the SBI cards team will visit each IIT SBI branch and will offer this campaign. Unfortunately, this offer is only for the current students. It's an offline process and only an ID card is required as per their instruction. You can go to your campus branch and enquire about this.

Interesting thing is that in the ads they say explicitly it is for final and pre final yr degree and dual degree students. So do they exclude the post grads or PhD students in the campus of they were to apply for it. Does anyone know ?

Interesting offer. What are 3rd year students even doing with a credit cards these days? We used to think in 100s when we were in college. 😉

The 3rd year+ constraint is only for the undergrads and not for the PhDs. I think the reason is SBI's general policy of giving cards to those whose age is 21+.

Interestingly, Master's students are not eligible for this offer. In case you think the reason is a duration of the Masters programs, then there are 3 year masters programs as well. But even the 3rd year Masters students are ineligible.

Strange. IITM never misses a chance to denigrate MATKAS. 😉

Not true. The constraint is only for BTech due to age limit. They gave card to all mtech and PhD students.
