As promised in one of my previous posts, I have decided to present you with a hack to virtually show spending on your Axis credit cards and basically earning rewards on top of it.
When the Swiggy hack was shared by @hireng , it instantly struck my mind because I had experienced it in April with Myzone card on swiggy. So what happened was that, I cancelled few orders, and received the credit payment from Swiggy as IMPS instead of refund.
After few days, when I checked Edge Rewards portal, it was counted as spends, and accrued regular reward points.
As soon as I got concrete knowledge about this, I further tried to implement it on Airtel Axis card which has a 10% cashback on Swiggy.
So, I placed an order of 5k, and cancelled it immediately.

Guess what? I received the refund again as IMPS payment, and it got counted as cashback also.😉
This trick will only work for some particular banks like Axis, HDFC, etc. based on Hit & Trial.
Because not all banks accept payments in IMPS. and different banks have different payment mechanisms.
This way you can also complete your Magnus milestones, by purchasing 10-15L ghee 😋 on Swiggy instamart and cancelling it.
I do not encourage or recommend it in any way, but someone can use it complete Airtel Axis milestone, as it is a very small amount of 5k which won't trigger any alert.
As this is a purely lucrative and rewarding way, in which no CC to Bank is required and no funds will hit your bank account, basically there is a virtual spending on your card just because of Swiggy's refund mechanism.
So, there are high chances that this hack will leak in public forum, other groups, etc.
But If we (mods) find any such activity and reported by any group member, then a non tolerance action will be taken against leaker.
So, please keep it to yourselves.
Disclaimer: There are 99% chances of your Swiggy account getting banned, so do it cautiously and with the mobile number you don't care. Also don't do high value trxns above 20k just for sake of fulfilling Magnus milestones. Not recommended.

AFAIR Amazon does a transaction cancellation or reverse. Axis will reverse the points too soon.

I am not sure but that seems to be the case. Yesterday, I tried this trick and the refund wasn't instant. It's still pending and might take 7 days to get credited. So, I am assuming the refund may no longer be via IMPS.

It maybe true that Swiggy might have patched this.
I cannot confirm unless I try it next month.
Also, will suggest anyone, to use it for lower amounts only, not for Magnus milestone per say.

Similar trick used to work with cars24 earlier.
I have used it during new year , not required offlate thanks to genuine expenditures and the myntra gold.
Will share steps in some time , but wanted to highlight with cars you can easily complete with one shot of trnx.

I had made 2 transactions from Flipkart using Atlas both of which I ended up returning. For one I think they counted as refund as the transaction went away from unbilled. For other they did IMPS ig because it showed as payment but axis deducted the points for that transaction.

so this is proof that even if the refund by IMPS is shown as payment towards the card dues, the points given will be deducted anyway.
so it is patched completely

One possibility is website which charge based on prevailing currency conversion rates however dont do dynamic currency conversion.
