Federal x Fi have again started issuing their co branded Magnifi card.

Here’s a concise list of Fi Magnifi Card benefits :

  • Lifetime free – no joining or annual fees
  • 20% instant discount on top brands like Amazon, Zomato, Zepto, and BookMyShow on weekends
  • 5% cashback on weekend spends (shopping, dining, travel, etc.)
  • 0.5% cashback on weekday spends
  • Rewards earned as Fi Points, redeemable for gift cards, flights, or bill payments
  • No minimum spend requirement
  • Usable online and offline everywhere
  • Potential annual savings up to ₹25,000 (as per Fi estimates)

So should someone apply for this card considering weekend reward rate and 20% instant discount upto 100 for purchasing 500 stuff 🌚

I have Jupiter federal credit card for a year now.
Recently seeing Fi showing me I am pre-approved for Magnifi.

Should I go for it? Now that Federal has changed policy on holding multiple cc's.

Or should I try Scapia? Heard it is much better value?

Any advice is welcome.

I have Celesta credit card from Federal.

Now I applied this card, Application Rejected in the last step.

"We regret to inform you that your application cannot be processed as it does not meet the criteria set by our co-branded credit card policy"

Should I close my current Federal core to get the co branded credit cards from them?

Scapia is much worse. 10k spends for lounge. Not good card for cashback and rewards for that much better free options.

No, not at all

Just closed my Scapia card, so might not be eligible as the CX person had said that I won't be able to open any card with Federal in future(very strange). Honest take on Magnifi - seems like a good secondary card where I can maximise my rewards on spends on weekends on certain merchants where they are giving higher value back. Given that its lifetime free, doesn't hurt.
