If I dont have a burgundy account, and plan to use my Axis Magnus for International flight bookings via travel edge would the effective reward be 5x and worth utilising it? and also what is the current Accor ALL transfer ratio for Magnus post Sep 1?
yes, it would be worth it. 5x means 60 points / 200. for example: you spend 10K INR on traveledge, you will receive 3000 ER.
transfer ratio is 5:2 and it is same for accor, i transferred recently. 3000 ER translates to 1200 ALL that is 1200 x 1.8 = 2160 INR.
effective returns if transferred to accor is 21.6%

All hail! The Lord of Darkness.

Awesome then, let me go ahead with my booking through Travel Edge :)

Even then if I consider base rewards at 1.2% considering 0.2 Rs per edge reward, still 5X would still be 12% return for non Burgundy which I still think is decent rewards if we use travel edge.
Traveledge prices are 5-7% costlier is what I have heard compared to the cheapest flights available via Skyscanner.
Do cost benefit analysis and decide

I was trying to register rent payment on Red Giraffe through a credit card but can't find Axis Bank in the selection menu of card selection...... Why so.....anybody pay with red giraffe via Axis Magnus????

Guys, I have accomplished 1.5 lac spends in September (excluding traveledge, gyftr).
Now i need to purchase some things & pay bills through Amazon. As Amazon gyftr gives only 2x, while the spends beyond 1.5 lac fetch almost 3x points, I think there is no use buying 2x vouchers through Gyftr? I should just pay directly by card through Amazon to fetch 35 ER/200/-?

Don't believe everything you hear. Do your own research. Not sure about about the upper bound but lower bound is definitely not 5% rather close to 0.
Agree.

Some folks are going on about huge fare differential.
Definitely hasnt been my experience.

Even international fares of close to 2L, I've found the difference to be Rs. 300-400 at best, unless the fare class comes into the picture.

I've booked around 5-6 times using traveledge and in all instances I saw same prices on SkyScanner and Traveledge. Although I usually do my booking well in advance, maybe on closer dates there could be some difference.
so it all comes down to instance card or couippon discount at skyscanner vs 5x rewards points
need to do a cost benefit analysis

so you are saying traveledge flights are as cheap as skyscanner?
i don't think it is possible
I don't know about skyscanner, but I got tha price almost as close to makemytrip/yatra /company site/ smartbuy, infact as same as them when accounting for 'convenience charges' some of those sites levy. I have booked around 10 tickets from traveledge in last 6 months , couple of international ones . Max diff I saw when I booked was around 2-3% which I found ok. One time I found huge difference on international side, in which case I moved to smartbuy.
