You are not wrong. there isn't any one single card apart from Infinia that can do better than Magnus (w burgundy) in all categories. Even Infinia doesn't at some scenarios.

You have to use a portfolio of cards. One for fuel, one for utility bills, one for govt payments etc. at places where Magnus doesn't reward you.
Other than that it's a still a solid card to keep for gyftr, travel and airmiles conversion.
Magnus burgundy 24% beats Infinia 14.5% on airtickets.
Also 4.8% vs 3.3% on non travel transactions.
For hotels I get 35% discount with Kotak

Now the main question for those who have Magnus without Burgundy--
will they get 5:2 or 5:1 ratio for the other cards in their portfolio ?

and Magnus with Burgundy--
will they get 5:4 or 5:2 or 5:1 for the other cards in their portfolio?

After removal of linked Travel Partners are you guys able to add it back. For me it takes me to the screen but I donot receive the OTP to verify the account.

I just tried it 2 minutes back, and was able to add successfully (received OTP within seconds). Not initiating transfer right now at 5:2, waiting for burgundy 5:4 to kick in.

magn

us without burgundy normal rate on other cards 5:1 according to the card
and same with burgundy also if i am not wrong
Yes but Magnus plain gets a conversation ratio 5:2
And all the edge points from all 4 cards in the portfolio will be combined in the same pool of edge reward points.
so obviously they will also have to be converted at 5:2, correct?

For the 2nd part No.
Only points earned from Magnus can be converted at 5:4. Someone had uploaded a screenshot of traveledge where there were 3 categories.
Edge Miles / Magnus Burgundy / Edge Rewards.
So points will go to a different bucket. Only those will get 5:4.
If this is not the case, then they won't have a clause saying that to get 5:4 for Reserve you need Burgundy Private.

Other nuances like what will happen to existing points, or will all other cards have their own conversion ratio or remaining will convert at 5:2. No one has any info about that yet.

The only card eligible for 5:4 ER now is Burgundy Private. So with this, the ER from all your cards(normal Magnus and Reserve) can be converted at 5:4 conversion.
Supposedly, the other card having a 5:4 conversion will be the Burgandy Magnus, which will have a new loyalty currency. So ER, EM and Burgandy Magnus' points will be segregated accordingly. So it won't be possible to convert the accrued ER from other cards at 5:4 using Burgandy Magnus.

1) What will be the conversion ratio of Samsung infinite, Rewards, IOCL and Select cards when you also have plain Magnus in the portfolio ?

2) What will be the conversion ratio of Samsung infinite, Rewards, IOCL and Select cards when you also have Magnus Burgundy in the portfolio?

1) Will be as per your normal Magnus, so should be 5:2.
2) Should be 5:1 for ER points. Magnus Burgandy should be 5:4, but we have to wait for official word on this from Axis.
