Step-by-step procedure:
This process is a little Time wait exercise and may take any where between 7 days to 15 days ( or even more in some cases).
1. Wait for the pending ERs to be credited and don't do any fresh transaction through MB card. ER points take about 7 to 15 days to get credited into Edge Rewards balance.
2. Once all the balance points for transactions done in the past have been credited , make an almost full transfer that is possible, so that the balance points goes below 300 , but remains above 100.
3. At this point You need to make an exact additional purchase through Burgundy Magnus card so that the extra ER points earned through this particular transaction will make the MB balance in multiples of 100 after about a week or two.
For example if the balance in MB bucket is 102 , then you need to make an additional purchase for exactly rs 3300 so that you get 198 new ER points and the MB balance will become 300 after new ER is credited into MB bucket in about 7 days in most cases. And don't do any further transaction till this new points is credited.
(198*200÷12= 3300) is the formula to arrive at the exact new purchase amount.
4. Once it becomes 300 points do an immediate transfer of 300 points so that it becomes zero .
This method may not work for people who are getting ER points jump from Atlas Miles pool or from ER bucket automatically without doing anything when the points go below 100.

Did anyone notice that 3300 is not an exact multiple of 200 and my example is not exactly correct 😅
3200 = 192 points
3400= 204 points
So It will work only if the balance points required is in multiples of 12

Thanks for your all insight, now I got 60points in MB bucket and due to that I can't use my 3300 ERs, so will try to make it more than 300 and divisible by 12 though Magnus Burgundy will hardly get trxs now due to Infinia

1.3L in Burgundy for magnus

I first transferred all 1.6L points to Accor
Then I was able to transfer 1.3L points from Burgundy to Accor

Both transfer failed

These points then got credited back
It be became 3 buckets

Edge rewards
Magnus Burgundy
Edge Miles

Edge rewards was 100 or 150 points
Magnus became 1.6L points
Edge miles became some 3L points

I then received some bonus points for August milestone 25000

This got transferred to Edge rewards
I again initiated a transfer but I was able to transfer only 25000 points from the ER bucket the rest I was not able to transfer

I spent and earned some 30000 points again it got transferred to Edge rewards and I was again able to successfully transfer to Accor

But I am just unable to transfer from Burgundy bucket everytime I transfer I get a message Insufficient balance. Error code 6520 even though I have 1.7L points

Technically I should have 1.6L + 1.3L = 3.2L points but not able to transfer.

How do I transfer?

MB is subset of edge points and should always be lesser than that. Maybe cancelled transaction did some mess up and instead of refunding to edge points, it refunded to edge miles.

I did and told u in ur previous post, but u probably didn't notice and posted it again 🤣.

And BTW, my edge point is odd number (not a multiple of 2, due to 1.5L+ points calculation). I can never get this exact multiple of 300 (unless I do another 1.5L+ transaction). But fortunately, it works with just getting MB balance below 100 itself and need not go absolute zero.

Yes This problem of odd number of points in MB balance will happen only when you received AEP already ( for September?) . All the points credited into MB are always in multiples of 12 , and hence before doing the first transfer from MB bucket , one must ensure the balance rounds off to the nearest Hundred ( in multiple of 300) or atleast in multiples of 12. If the balance after transfer is also maintained in multiple of 300 (or 12) then any new additional ER credits for BM will not be difficult to make balance to the nearest Hundreds by doing a single purchase . Until the AEP points for October kick in the second week of December 🤣.
In any case I heard they are working on including another radio button during points transfer , so that you have a choice to select between normal ER and BM points very soon, but transfer ratio may not be the same.

Thanks for your all insight, now I got 60points in MB bucket and due to that I can't use my 3300 ERs, so will try to make it more than 300 and divisible by 12 though Magnus Burgundy will hardly get trxs now due to Infinia

You need to make a purchase of exactly for rs 4000 (for additional 240 points ) and you will reach exactly 300 points BM balance , probably in a week . Let me know if it works 👍

I think the names of the buckets got interchanged wrongly in your case.
Now new Edge rewards is actually Burgundy Magnus bucket.
Now Burgundy Magnus is actually Edge rewards bucket.
And possibly the refunded points have accidentally gone into Atlas miles in a wrong ratio.

If you can make the current Edge bucket zero , then you will be able to transfer points in the current Burgundy Magnus bucket (which is holding the previous Edge Reward points balance ) and can't be transferred till the other bucket becomes zero !

Just my wild analysis . Could be wrong .

The problem is with the old Magnus and the New Burgundy for Magnus. All spends + the Bonus + the milestone benefits are getting credited to ER while the new purchases are getting credited to MB. It's a cat and mouse game to exactly match the 300 ER.

Do a single transaction for rs 2800 so that you get additional 168 points to make the current ER bucket 300 ( in about a week ) and transfer it fully to make it zero . And then try transfer once again and see if it takes it from the other bucket .

You need to use the same card which got you 30000 points recently , that went into current Edge Reward bucket , so that new points also go into the same bucket. If in doubt do same amount transaction in both the cards

It's 112, the previous was 132 I got some ER credited from my travels and I transferred immediately. So is the trick to make it zero? I hope I can Axis can help and minus the 112 points to make it zero. With the balance of 112 it is impossible to get to 300 or multiples of 300.
