Magnus; transferring edge points to airlines/hotels

Does anybody know whether the points can be transferred to the supplementary card holder's airline/hotel account?

For ex: I & my wife have supplementary cards. I have a premium tier in Vistara while she has it in Marriott. Can we transfer to both accounts depending on what we are using the ERs for?

Would appreciate clarity on this!

Yeah, you can transfer it to any account. In the travel edge website, you need to enter the account number/CV ID number of the account you want to transfer points to. Doesn't necessarily have to be yours

Thats great, have you personally tried this? I am able to link the accounts but havent attempted a transfer yet. Once a successful transfer is done, I guess reversal isnt possible so the validation maybe happening at the point of transfer

I haven't tried it myself yet, but have linked the accounts. I am waiting for some milestone ER points to be credited.

There are multiple threads on this. For airline, if you transfer to a different account other than the primary holder, it is against the TnC. Something happens, you cannot complain. You want to do it? May be possible, but not recommended.

For Marriott and ITC, it is fairly simple. You can transfer to the same Marriott or ITC account of the primary card holder. Then you can transfer from the primary cardholders Marriott or ITC account to anyone's Marriott and ITC account. It is allowed as per their TnCs,
