Hello TFCians,
Recently travelled to Jim Corbett, Uttarakhand and Stayed in Marriott Jim Corbett Resort & Spa which is Marriott Bonvoy property located on the banks of Kosi River and near to RamNagar (Jim Corbett National Park). You have a good view of Kosi River and watch beautiful birds and Kosi River Flow. The property is a well built resort and a decent sized property with approximately 99 rooms. This property is JV between Jindal Group and Marriott.
Location:

Experience:
- I was always planning to visit Jim Corbett National Park after Visiting Ranthambore in 2024. You can check my experience here. https://technofino.in/community/thr...-ranthambore-review-awesome-experience.25349/
Back in March 2025 @malavkarkar has updated on TF about Marriott launching new Property in Jim Corbett and they are on an inaugural offer. Immediately booked them at 97000 MR points ( 24250 Points per night and 1N bonus under 4+1 Marriott) for 5Nights. Now they are charging around 35000MR-40000MR points and 25000 Rupees under revenue booking.
This property was chosen just to enjoy the time over there and booking was under Marriott Bonvoy point redemption. This is my first visit to the property. I love to stay at Marriott Bonvoy properties as they offer good value for me as I am Gold Elite Member and as usual they offered me Complimentary Breakfast for me and my family. Got an overall value of around 1.5Rupee per point under Inaugural offer.

Please note there are multiple things to consider before booking this property as the major attraction over there is National Park and they have multiple seasons and multiple operating conditions.
A small note from Duty Manager whenever I visit Marriott Properties.
Check- In:
- During Check in I have requested them for upgrade as usual and they accepted the upgrade and offered me Family Suite which was a highest category room available. Even though room package didn't include Complimentary Breakfast, on Request and As I am Gold Elite member, they have considered and offered me complimentary breakfast which is some what usual at older Marriott outdoor resorts. That was a good soft experience.
- Overall Checkin process was smooth and the property was very calm and peaceful with stunning Kosi River views and Birds chirping outside the room.

Lobby & Reception:
Room Images:
As mentioned got the upgraded room (Family Suite) on request, it had a Duplex Terrace with Kids beds and some playing sections (Tent and some indoor games options) for them in the room.
Toiletries are from The Indian Apothecary.
Beautiful Kosi River view from the Room:
Restaurant and Swimming Pool:
There is only one restaurant (The Corbett Kitchen) in the property which offers Ala Carte Dining and Buffet Breakfast. During Weekends and some more visitor count, they offer buffet for lunch and dinner too. They have one bakery and cafeteria at the entrance lobby only.
Cafeteria and Bakery:
The Corbett Kitchen (Restaurant) :
They do have indoor and outdoor seating.
They do serve the traditional food over there also.
Swimming Pool is small one only and temperature controlled is not available, but it serves the purpose.
Other Amenities Include:
- Bird Watching within Resort
- Spa & Wellness
- Kids Activities, Some Adults Sports and Games (Archery, Cycling, Table Tennis, Snooker, Bowling Alley, Carroms) & Entertainment Zone
- Jim Corbett Safari (They charge around 13000 odd but the outside guys charge around 7500 + 600 (Pickup Charges).
- Corbett Himalayan View Point (11000 + Taxes)
- Kids Cooking Sessions & Kids Crafts
As of now this property is very new and fresh, and National Park main Zones are opened by October 14th and we visited on October 13th, there were very little guests. Over weekend around 30 rooms were filled, but during weekdays only 5-6 rooms were filled in. So you stay peaceful and calm.
Last but not least, the big cat was spotted during safari and Images, videos will be shared on Travelogue.
Final Verdict:
We have chosen this property as to explore the Jim Corbett and get value for Amex MR Points. Overall a comfortable & pleasant experience to have a good view of Kosi River views .As I always say, I have WOW feeling walking out of Marriott Properties. They never disappoints me. I am also Gold Elite on Accor but they don't bring in value for me. But Marriott always amazes me.
My suggestion would be if you want a relaxed experience and comfortable stay chose the property well in advance to get the better value for the redemptions. 5/5 has been alloted for the VFM and Experience only. (If you don't get MR point more than 1 Rupee rating goes to 4-4.5)
My Rating for the Property & Experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(5/5)
